Hello lovelies,

It has been a minute since I have written a blog post! I have been missing y’all! Life has been crazy hectic; my best friend has a baby, the holiday came and went and then Jax got super sick (but he’s much better now)!

Since I have been gone, I have decided to start something new! I started the KETO DIET! My fiends have been trying to talk me into doing it for a while now and I finally jumped on board!

I feel so much more refreshed and energized. I have the will power to go to the gym and do more around my house. Since I have been feeling better, I have realized that it has even helped with my PPA. These are all things that you don’t think about when you want to start a “diet.” My initial plan was to do it until I lost thirty pounds. But now my plan is to just keep going until I feel comfortable in my own skin again.

I wanted to start this “diet” because I plan on trying to conceive (TTC) around October of this year when my son is about 18 months. I wanted to lose the weight before I got pregnant again and had double the weight to lose. I am almost positive I will be able to do it and maintain once I start to see killer results!

A keto diet is HIGH fat, adequate protein, low carb diet. The ultimate goal is to get more calories from fat and protein rather than carbs. Which is a key to unlocking weight loss and feeling energized through the day.

What are some things I can eat on Keto?

With this lifestyle change I feel so much better. I feel like I am able to do this. I am able to care for my family in the best way possible while feeling self confidence.

Never be afraid to try something new, who knows.. you might love it after all!!!

  2. That was the same boat for me too! I was wanting to lose about 20lbs before getting pregnant again, and as soon as I did, we were pregnant with Jaxson! I’ll keep you in my thoughts and prayers as you go on this journey. I know the feeling for sure. You got this mama!
